Custom Mixtures and Blends

Contains: 90% Everglade, Solar Eclipse, Rush, Nu Destiny and 4-Season Kentucky Bluegrass and 10% La Quinta Perennial Ryegrass

This bluegrass/rye mixture incorporates the same varieties of bluegrasses that are in the Sure-Shot Bluegrass Blend along with 10% fine leafed perennial ryegrass. The ryegrass is added for quick cover to help the bluegrass establish. The amount used, however, is not enough to compete with the establishment of the Ky. Bluegrasses, provided a mowing height of ¾” is maintained during establishment. The close mowing program will shock the ryegrass and open the leaf canopy a little longer for the smaller bluegrass plants to establish.
