Super Turf II

A mixture of the very best of the new lower growing (dwarf) turf type tall fescues. Varieties selected are at the very top in the NTEP quality ratings for turf quality, wear tolerance, low maintenance performance, leaf texture, endophyte enhancement and disease resistance especially brown patch. Blue Chip and Everest are unique types type Ky. bluegrasses, which provides the knitting effect of the Ky. bluegrass rhizomes but non-aggressive and will not compete with the tall fescue. The addition of a small amount of high endophyte perennial ryegrass serves a two-fold purpose. It provides natural insect resistance and acts as a nurse crop to promote establishment of the tall fescue. Can be used in all aspects of the turf industry. Generally recommended in areas where supplemental water can be applied. Although Super Turf II will adapt well to low maintenance areas.
